Artist Bio

I am a Miami based multidisciplinary visual artist. I consider myself a traditional graphite portrait artist, as that is the medium I began my practice with; however I have spent the past few years expanding my horizons into more multidisciplinary mediums such as digital, film, and 3D sculpting. My interests can be seen within the subject matter that my work attempts to convey, primarily pertaining to mental health and creating an experience through my work that the viewer can personally resonate with. I believe that the process of artmaking is as much of a component to the work as is the work itself, which is eminent in my own process, being not only a therapeutic one but a meticulous one as well. Both components serve and exist to help me alleviate some of the very mental health issues I try to communicate throughout my work. I have been studying art on an academic level since 2012, and am on track to completing my BFA at New World School of the Arts by 2023. I have been awarded the 2018 “Scholastics Golden Key Award”, as well as the highest score possible on my 2018 AP drawing portfolio. I have exhibited in several Miami galleries such as the Bakehouse Art Complex, the Rubell Family Museum, and community art shows.
